Easy Bone Broth Gravy
Everyone needs a go-to gravy recipe!
I have made many meat dishes that came out too dry for one reason or another and a quick batch gravy saved it. Here is a quick an easy base you can make your own. :)
Ingredients:
2 cups beef broth - (You can also use beef dripping from a roast)
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
¼ cup cold water + 3 tablespoons of starch (I use potatoes or tapioca mostly.)
Salt and pepper
Other: I also have added fresh herbs and other spices depending on the meat it will be paid with, so feel free to adjust and make it your own!
Steps:
1 - In a saucepan, bring beef broth to boil over medium-high heat and then stir in garlic powder and onion powder.
2 - In a small bowl, whisk together cold water and starch until dissolved. Pour into boiling beef broth and reduce heat to medium-low. Stir until thickened.
3 - Season with salt and pepper, and enjoy on your favorite meat dish!
