A Taste of Love: Our Journey into Whole Food Cooking & "Cook with Real Food"

Hey there! I thought it would be fun to share a little bit about the backstory of "Cook with Real Foods," and how my husband Daniel and I transformed cooking into something truly special.

Daniel has this incredible palate, I'm talking, "Guess the secret ingredient in a dish" and he nails it every time kind of incredible. Since I’ve known him, he has always had a knack for understanding flavors and imagining how they could work together. We would go out on dates and try new dishes and flavors, it was kind of our thing. At first, it was all fun and games during our foodie dates, but then, it became something more meaningful.

Our honeymoon was the real game-changer. We stayed at this amazing spa where every meal was prepared with fresh, organic ingredients straight from the farm. It was like nothing we'd ever tasted before. We were mesmerized, not just by the tantalizing flavors, but by the whole experience of eating real food.

Inspired by this revelation, we decided to recreate this magic in our own kitchen. Daniel, with his unique ability to reverse engineer flavors, would come up with ideas, and I, with my passion for cooking, would bring them to life. We started cooking with quality ingredients, mirroring the farm-to-table concept we had experienced during our honeymoon.

My cookbook, "Cook with Real Foods," is like a love letter to this shared passion for whole food cooking. We wanted to capture some of the best-tasting whole food, seed oil-free, and Animal-based recipes we have either tried or created over the years – where Daniel’s discerning palate and my cooking skills unite – and share it with others.

Experimenting with whole foods and learning about their incredible health benefits turned our kitchen into a culinary playground. It was no longer just about cooking and eating; it was about nourishing our bodies with the best ‘back to source’ ingredients has to offer.

I am not a health expert, just a cooking enthusiast who stumbled upon the power of whole foods and decided to dive deep. Through the cookbook and my brand, I aim to share the joy of cooking and eating real food and inspire others to embark on this wholesome journey with me.
